Trauma, PTSD & CPTSD Therapy in Kingston, Ontario
When the past continues to show up in the present.
Trauma can affect far more than memories. It can influence how safe you feel, how you relate to others, how you respond to stress, and how you see yourself.
You may experience hypervigilance, emotional overwhelm, avoidance, numbness, intrusive memories, difficulty trusting, or feeling constantly on guard.
Trauma therapy begins with safety.
My approach is trauma-informed and individualized, with attention to pacing, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
We may work with the emotional, relational, cognitive, and bodily effects of trauma using approaches such as psychodynamic and attachment-focused therapy, somatic work, parts work, mindfulness, and compassion-focused interventions.
You don't have to rush your healing. We can move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
